Brain Chip | Acrylic, gesso, and ink on canvas | 43” x 90”

Inspired by George Orwell’s 1984—“Nothing was your own except the few cubic centimeters inside your skull”—and Neuralink’s recent brain chip innovations, this work envisions a dystopian fusion of technology and divinity. Featuring Orwell’s quote in ASCII code at the bottom, it depicts Elon Musk as a god-like figure, his beard cascading like a waterfall, with reprogrammed brains and a planetary eye orchestrating our movements. A flowing introspection merges with an expanding universe, challenging the boundaries of autonomy and surveillance in a world where “reality exists in the human mind, and nowhere else.”
