Should I Stay? | Acrylic and ink on Papyrus | 36” x 74”
Drawing on Gabriel García Márquez’s El Drama del Desencantado, this piece follows a man’s fall from a tenth-floor window, witnessing life’s intimate tragedies and joys. It affirms that, despite inevitable suffering, life is worth living—hope and time as universal healers guide us from the abyss. No one escapes pain, but time heals. I try to weave a narrative of resilience.
