Fargo | Acrylic, ink, gesso and crushed glass on canvas | 36” x 48”

A surreal winter landscape of crushed light bulbs scattered like snowflakes and red streaks resembling blood evokes a crime scene from Fargo. “CRIME SCENE DO NOT CROSS” tape slices through the starry sky, while “ENLIGHTENMENT,” inspired by Gandhi’s quote—“Each night, when I go to sleep, I die. And the next morning, when I wake up, I am reborn”—is obscured by crimson flows. This meditation on death and renewal finds beauty in fragility.
